Job Role: Speech and Language Therapist

The Orchid Practice LTD is a paediatric speech and language therapy practice based in Takeley and cover East Herts and West Essex. We are passionate about providing high-quality speech and language therapy services to children and young people. We are proud to work face to face and continue to provide high quality in-person therapy. We are looking for a confident and committed therapist with excellent people skills and lots of passion, creativity and enthusiasm. This role is term-time work for full-time pay. You will assess children and young people, deliver therapy in homes, schools within our catchment areas. Come join our small supportive team!

Salary

  • Term-Time Working pattern with Full-Time Pay
  • £30,000 minimum (dependent on experience)
  • 10 Weeks Paid Holiday (school holidays plus bank holidays)

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Speech and Language Therapy
  • Current registration with HCPC and UK resident
  • Ideally 2 plus years’ experience children with a variety of speech, language, and communication difficulties including speech disorders and autism
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with families and other professionals.
  • Ability to be self-directed and demonstrate initiative with effective problem-solving skills.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development
