Training

We specifically design and tailor training to your individual needs.  We are able to offer training on development and SLCN needs as well as a variety of supportive interventions and strategies to empower staff to reinforce children’s communication skills which are vital to their educational journey.  Areas of training offered include:

• Autism Support: including social skills, social stories, neurodiversity affirming approaches, Gestalt Language Processing and Attention Autism
• Developmental Language Disorder (DLD): including raising awareness, support with assessment and provision, therapeutic techniques including colourful semantics and shape coding, vocabulary support
• Speech Sound Development: including identification of delay vs. disorder, strategies including auditory discrimination, phonological awareness and Cued Articulation
• Stammering: awareness and education whole staff/ whole school training
• Selective Mutism: awareness and education whole staff/ whole school training
• Total Communication Approach
• Adult-Child Interaction Approaches for ASD and Stammering
• Emotional Regulation Approaches
