New Team Update

We have had some big changes in the practice this year with the main change being an expanding team.  Molly Hobday joined us in September 2023 to start her journey in the private speech and language therapy world.  We have been thrilled to have her on our team and she is already a favourite with our little clients.  Molly covers the areas within Hertfordshire including Bishop’s Stortford and Hoddesdon and surrounding areas and she has quickly filled her schedule doing lots of therapy which she loves.  Just before Christmas, we were able to recruit 2 new therapists who started working in the team this month.  Bethany Potter and Anna Norburn joined us and have hit the ground running with some of our lovely existing clients and quite a few new ones as well.  Bethany comes to us from bury St. Edmunds and covers areas more towards the Essex catchment area including Dunmow, Braintree and surrounding villages.  Anna covers the East Herts areas of Harlow, Sawbridgeworth and Hertford.  We are now a team of four therapists and our busy life as therapists is made possible by our administrator Tracey Kent who is a treasure. 

As we have a larger team, we have been able to expand our catchment area so in the coming months, we will be continuing to streamline our provision across our catchment areas whilst ensuring we can continue to match clients with the right therapist for their needs.  The skill mix in the team means we have a wider breadth of specialisms which are now present and expanding in our team.  We can support more children with stammering from preschool through school age and beyond and we also have more capacity for ongoing speech disorders and Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) who are children who require a high level of input from us.  We are thrilled to be able to continue to offer specialist support for children with ASD and complex needs with increased availability due to our larger team.
